Many of you already know YNOT, but for those of you who aren’t familiar with us, here’s our Brand 101.
YNOT is a U.S.-based company established in 1996 as a resource for the adult webmaster community. At that time, adult entertainment on the Internet was often compared to the wild wild West. With few established rules, technologies, or procedures in place, most who were active in that time were making it up as they went along.
YNOT gave all of these random characters a central flag to rally around, and it was instrumental in promoting ethical and professional business practices in the early days of online adult entertainment business.
Throughout the years, YNOT has branched out considerably. Our central site — YNOT.com – offers industry news for adult online and retail businesses, as well as a private social network for adult industry professionals. We run the annual YNOT Awards in connection with The European Summit in Prague each fall, and we put on fun networking events at various trade shows, like the YNOT Grand Prix go-kart races.
We also operate YNOT Mail, which is a hosted email marketing solution. Put simply: You know that big email list you have, the one that constantly gets flagged by mainstream providers. YNOT Mail helps adult businesses and personalities get their messages into in-boxes instead of spam folders.
So, why YNOT Cam? Because we believe that cam models are an indispensable part of the online adult entertainment business, with unique needs and interests that are often quite different than those of the general YNOT audience. And as one of the three leading B2B media companies in the industry, we felt it was time to focus more directly on providing useful information and resources – all with an eye on trained on success! We think EXCLUSIVELY about what will help models and hosts be (more) effective online. The interests of cam networks, software vendors, studios, etc are not our focus.
