Let’s be honest. Size really does matter when it comes to privates (PVTs), and I think we can all agree: the longer the better!
So, how can we have the satisfying, long PVTs we all dream of? The answer is unexpected and takes us all the way back to our hunter-gatherer days when we relied on our instincts for our very survival.
Before we go into how that’s even possible though, let’s talk about what’s making your privates short. (Again, the answer may surprise you.)
Disclaimer: This list is not a criticism of “model mistakes,” but more an honest examination of common behaviors and habits of cam models everywhere. Including me.
Common Boner Killers To Avoid
Here are some things that seem to happen often — and that will more often than not make your PVTs short (or non-existent).
1. Not Being Ready
You accept the PVT, show starts, and all of a sudden you need to grab toys, move to a new room, etc. It’s impossible to be prepared for everything, but keeping important things — toys, lube, towels, water, lip balm — within arm’s reach is just smart.
Now I know you may be saying, “Nikki, they waste time in PMs ‘preparing’ for a potential private. So, how can I be prepared but also not have my time wasted?”
Answer: Use your profile like a menu. List what you do in public, private and true private, etc. Use your photo gallery as a catalog of your outfits, role-play characters, fantasies, toys and more. It’s a good idea to name or number your outfits so viewers can easily express which they would like for private.
…and if they still try to talk your ear off with nonsense after you do all that, just troll them or silence them or something.
2. Slow Strip to Draw it Out
You know that looooooonnnnnng, s-l-o-w striptease? They know what you’re doing. And it’s frustrating AF to watch, so they leave, boner killed.
The worst part is you’re better than that. Viewers don’t need any help finding things that enforce cam model stereotypes. They do that shit enough on their own!
3. “What kind of show do you want?”
This one might be the worst for two reasons. One, you’re not a mindreader, and you’re only asking out of the goodness of your heart because you care whether or not they like the show. Two, questions in the moment can be the ultimate boner killing reality check.
This question — “What kind of show do you want?” — is transactional. It reminds them that this is your job and not a beautiful love story blossoming between you two.
Pro Tip: You *can* ask if they’ve been thinking about this all day.
How To Make Your PVTs Longer
Now that we know how to not make shows unnecessarily shorter, how do we make them so very much longer, even recurring? Here are some ideas.
1. Start by Asking Their Name
Not their real name, of course, but what they would like you to call them now that you’re in private with them. How your viewer answers this question will tell you everything you need to know about what type of show they want. Here is a breakdown of the answers you’ll get and what they mean.
a) They give you a “real” fake name, something like Jim or Matt or Richard: You have found a true cam fan and they want the full girlfriend/boyfriend experience. Use their name right away to really get them into the show. I can guarantee this person wants to know about you and what makes you cum, so do your thing and tell them what feels good. They’ll love it.
b) They say nothing or “just my username:“ Drop your pants and go because you’ve got a run and gun show on your hands. It won’t last long, but thanks for the tokens, bb! Don’t get discouraged at these ones. I’ve found a lot of them to be repeat customers.
c) Sissy, bitch, slut, etc: Surprise! You’ve got a fetish show!
2. Switch Up Your Scenery
Our brain gets bored so easily. The average attention span of your audience is now 8.5 seconds. (That’s 0.5 seconds shorter than a goldfish!) Lucky for us, it’s just as easy to harness ones attention span by tapping into our survival instincts that are hard wired into the brain.
Think about this from your viewer’s point of view for a second:
Here you are… You’ve found a model you like, have tokens in your account, took them private and had a good time. But, nothing changed. The background, the lighting, the show… It’s all the same, as if you watched it in public chat. Even though you were “alone” with them, it didn’t seem like that big of a deal to spend money to take them private when it was the exact same thing as in public.
Find ways to make PVTs look and feel different from public chat. Viewers will then feel like they are getting a special, unique perspective that not just anyone can see — and they are!
