“We’ve been camming for about three months but have been in the adult industry for about four years. We first started on Pornhub as a fun outlet for our exhibitionism… We posted a video to see what would happen, and it took off!”
And so, Viv and Lance, a couple who works on Chaturbate, burst onto the cammunity scene.
Viv has two Master’s degrees, one of which is in psychology. Lance is former military, with fifteen years of service, and is now a weapons instructor. This power couple took some time out to share a bit more about their experiences online.
YNOT Cam: What prompted y’all to begin working online?
Viv and Lance: We had the normal life everyone else does. Lance was in the military and deployed most of the time. Viv was in school and the service industry. We began working online after we were asked to do custom videos after posting some of our own content. We researched camming for about 18 months before deciding it was definitely something we wanted to do and what site to broadcast from.
It isn’t easy! We’re still trying to find the balance between work and personal life. Camming can take up all of your time if you let it. Communication is the key, and we talk about everything.
What are some of the best things about working online?
Viv: We love meeting new people — I don’t think either of us has ever met a stranger. (must be that Southern charm!) We’ve met some amazing new friends through camming that we wouldn’t ordinarily have the chance to meet. We consider many of them our family, new models especially.
We all have the same mindset that we should support each other and promote each other. There’s room for all of us here. That snarky, cutthroat way of acting is not what we’re about. We have some amazing mentors that have helped us along the way. Megan Sky — @xxxHaven_Inc — has been an incredible role model.

I see on your Chaturbate profile that y’all are pretty clear about your dos and don’ts online. Do you find a lot of people try to push on those boundaries, or is it not an issue?
Viv and Lance: We think because we are upfront about our boundaries we don’t get many people trying to push it. There’s always the one or two, but for the most part, everyone respects our boundaries.
Outside of work, what are y’all most passionate about?
Viv and Lance: We are pretty passionate about a few things. Lance loves instructing and building custom weapons. Viv acts, doing background work in many of the television shows and movies filmed here in New Orleans.
We are also crazy about our fur baby, a two-year-old Belgian Malinois named Brigg. He’s Lance’s service dog and is also a ham. He’s constantly trying to get on camera, we think he wants to be a cam dog!
If you could change one thing about today’s world, what would it be and why?
Viv and Lance: We wish the stigma attached to the sex industry was gone. It’s ridiculous and doesn’t do anyone any good.
Also, the prevalence of mental health issues should be addressed more. It’s very common in the adult industry but is swept under the rug and not discussed as it should be. There’s nothing to be ashamed of by asking for help. Instead of shaming people, we should be supporting and embracing each other, helping one another instead of breaking each other down for their perceived”weakness.”
Viv and Lance added, “Thank you for allowing us this interview! We hope it helps other couples in this business knowing that everyone struggles, has ups and downs and deals with the murky lines between their personal and business lives.”
Thanks to you both!
